A Word on Social Media

It’s my belief that the strategic use of Social Media is essential for wineries and wine labels large and small.  On weekdays, weekends and holidays, I personally sent as many as ten tweets daily to nearly 2,000 followers and wrote frequent copy for a Facebook page with over 6,000 “likes”. Social Media offers an immediate and proven way to promote your wine and to cultivate loyalty for your brand, and it might also prove to be the gateway to more far-reaching technological innovations that are right around the corner.

That said, I tweet sparingly and do not maintain a Facebook presence. Urging you to “do as I say, not as I do,” I would opt to devote less time and energy to my own Social Media program—and more to yours.
